Merete Bates MCSP SRP AACP

Merete Bates, who owns the private clinic, graduated as a physiotherapist in Copenhagen, Denmark.  She has worked as a Physiotherapist in England for 32 years and has extensive experience of treating all age groups and a varied range of conditions, including paediatrics, intensive care, medical and orthopaedics, neurology, hydrotherapy and geriatrics. 

Merete’s particular skills lie in biomechanics, musculoskeletal conditions, sports injuries, back rehabilitation and acupuncture treatments.

At Japonica Clinic, Merete aims to provide a holistic approach to treatment, tailoring rehabilitation to each patient's individual needs.

 

Merete is a full member of:

The Health And Care Professions Council.
The Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP).

The Acupuncture Association of Chartered Physiotherapists (ACCP).

All patients are treated with the utmost respect.  Your physiotherapy treatment is confidential and no information about you will be divulged to anyone except your GP and/or consultant, without your prior written permission. You will be able to ask any questions you wish.

Your first appointment will take up to an hour and will always include advice, education and an home exercise programme to help a speedy recovery. Follow up sessions will take about 45 mins.
